We recently catered a funeral for Dignity Memorial and Southern Heritage Funeral Home in the Birmingham/Pelham area. The turnout was a beautiful funeral buffet menu featuring sweat heat chicken fingers, butternut squash au gratin, pimento cheese sandwiches, a large fruit tray with fruit dip, spinach dip with hand-cut French bread, chicken salad sandwiches, and a cake.
The flowers were one of the best funeral buffet ideas. They added to the presentation and made for a beautiful buffet table. The flower bouquets were made of orange colored roses with green and purple accents. They added to the tablescapes, creating varied height along the buffet.
Our tablescapes have varied height, as is observed by the low fruit tray next to a flower of medium height, a pedestal raising the spinach dip and French bread above the flower, a tall grass plant, and the even taller vase for the bouquet. This makes the entire table look nice and cohesive.

Awesome! Thank you for posting this. It’s very nicely done and I’ll refer to this as I am planning my mother’s funeral.
